Cuncun Qiao, PhD
Dr. Cuncun Qiao got a Bachelor in Science from the Northwest University in Xi’an, China. He did his PhD in Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao, China. Cuncun spends long hours in the lab, but when he is not working at the bench, he likes reading, playing ping-pong and swimming.
Gianluca Debiasi Anders
Gianluca has a Master’s degree in Medical Science with a major in Biomedicine from Uppsala University. Originally from Brazil, he has moved to Europe in the last few years to pursue a career in Academia. When he is not working in the lab or running errands he enjoys reading about history, exercising, playing board games and messing around with computers.
Na Li
Na Li comes from Xi’an Jiaotong University where she is a PhD candidate in the School of Science, Physics. She has received a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to study abroad which has allowed her to come here to Umeå.
Amrita Salim, PhD
Amrita’s originally from Kerala. She completed her PhD from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in India. When she is not working at the bench lab, she likes reading historical contemporary novels or trying some Bollywood dance moves.
